The team behind the platformAIDA is a decentralised hub for people living with autoimmune conditions. We do not sell treatments and we do not offer services of our own. We find the practitioners worth trusting, we publish what we learn, and we make the whole thing free to join.
AIDA started with a simple, frustrating problem: when you are diagnosed with an autoimmune condition, the internet gives you either clinical language you cannot use or wellness advice nobody has checked. There was no place that sat in between - practical, honest, and put together by people who actually work with autoimmune patients every day.
So we built one. AIDA brings independent practitioners, real-world knowledge and the day-to-day tools of living well into a single hub, organised the way a body actually works rather than the way a directory usually is. Every practitioner is reviewed before they appear. Every article is written by someone who does this for a living.
We are deliberately not a service provider. AIDA does not treat anyone, does not sell its own programmes, and has no incentive to push you toward one approach over another. Our only job is to make the right person and the right information easier to find than they were yesterday.
Autoimmune conditions are lifelong, individual and rarely solved by one discipline. The people who make the biggest difference are usually small independent practitioners without the reach they deserve. Giving them that reach helps far more people than we ever could on our own.
Everything AIDA does comes back to one of these. If it does not, we do not build it.
Every practitioner applies, and every application is read by a person before a profile goes live. Practitioners tell us how they work with people living with autoimmune conditions, and confirm they are qualified and insured for what they offer.
Practical, referenced writing on living with autoimmune conditions - from us and from the practitioners themselves. No miracle cures, no affiliate links, no filler.
Services, articles and practitioners are tagged against the conditions people actually live with and the six pillars of wellbeing, so you can skip the generic advice entirely.
Joining AIDA is free. Members get discounted rates on services, and practitioners keep the relationship with the people they help.
Search it, filter it by pillar, or just start at the top. New pieces go up most weeks.
